The College of Science for women is a pillar of the ancient and distinguished University of Babylon, both academically and scientifically. It was founded in 2002 with the life sciences and computer departments, and in 2004 the chemistry and laser physics departments acceded to by.

All four departments teach postgraduate and undergraduate studies by virtue of scientific competencies; what distinguishes them is has the highest H-index at the university level, as well as increasing research production every year and sober research with high rank to serve the scientific progress in our dear country. In order to develop the teaching staff, the college is working to build bridges of cooperation to establish scientific relations with international university institutions. Sincere and persistent effort is a clear and constructive effort that shows the spirit of belonging to their generous college, so let me extend all the thanks to the esteemed university presidency for its support in various fields for all faculties of the university in the service of our beloved country.
