Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Zafiri, a faculty member at the Department of Life Sciences, College of Science for Girls, presented a seminar on "Factors Influencing Increased Violence Against Women." He highlighted the severity of violence against women, its consequences on society, and the UN's definition of such violence based on gender. Social, psychological, and economic factors were discussed as contributors to the prevalent issue of violence against women.
