The University of Babylon is one of the largest universities in Iraq. It is situated on the banks of the Euphrates River in the province of Babil in central Iraq. The College of Science for Girls participated in the Sixth Job Fair organized by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Department at the University Presidency on May 10, 2022, at the indoor sports hall. The event was attended by representatives from state institutions, private sector companies, recruitment agencies, graduates, and students.The purpose of the fair is to strengthen the relationship between the university and various employment sectors, market the university's outputs, introduce the academic programs to the work sectors, act as a bridge between graduates and private sector institutions, support hiring plans and programs in different work sectors, and inform graduates about available job opportunities and training and how to apply for them.Dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Faiz Ali Rashid Al-Hamd Al-Mamouri, emphasized the college's commitment to monitoring students during and after their studies. The college facilitated job opportunities for its graduates in the private sector by hosting four companies, conducting workshops and training courses for fourth-year students and graduates. The participating companies were honored, and certificates of appreciation were presented to them.
