The College of Sciences for Girls organized a seminar titled 'Violence against Women and its Impact on Society' in collaboration with the Babil Police Department as part of the (16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence) campaign. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the importance of community policing and its role in addressing various social issues, including domestic violence, child neglect, and sexual assault. Community policing acts as a bridge between law enforcement and the community, fostering genuine participation and creating a culture of social safety.
